When I first discussed with Theresa and Mark what they had in mind for their engagement session Longwood Gardens was top of the list. I do a lot of sessions here and it’s a place that I never get tired of shooting at. The flowers are constantly changing and it’s so big that there are endless options for backdrops. I did this session back on a warm summer day wanted to share a few of my favorites.

Meet the adorable baby Vienna! She came into the studio for her newborn session at just a week old. She was so sleepy and sweet. Her older brother got in on the photo action as well! I love the sweet shot of him holding her.
Brandywine Creek Park Maternity Session

We met up with the soon to be parents and their fur babies at Brandywine Creek Park in Wilmington, DE. Maternity photography was a last minute decision for this beautiful momma. She decided on doing this session just 10 days before her little girl arrived and she couldn’t have been more radiant looking.

The Franklin Institute Wedding Philadelphia, PA | Beth & Tim

I’ve been waiting to share this beautiful wedding for awhile now. Tim and Beth live in Utah so their Philadelphia wedding was somewhat of a destination wedding for them. Tim is from the area and they wanted a fun wedding venue- what better of a place than the Franklin Institute! They are both so down to earth and relaxed that their whole day went so smoothly and it was truly just a celebration of their love (personal vows that made a lot of tears happen) I’m not going to lie, this was one of the hardest ceremony’s that I’ve ever photographed since it was in the pitch black to get the full ambiance of the planetarium. It was however so beautiful and I think we captured it just right. Another fun perk of getting married there is the roof access with incredible views of the city. We were able to make it out there just as the sun was setting. Their reception was under the watch of Big Ben Franklin but that didn’t stop them from dancing all night long!
Media, PA Family Portrait Photographer | The P Family Portrait Session

I loved everything about this session- the beautiful light, gorgeous fall colors and adorable family! This was their first photo session as a family and I would say they nailed it. Their adorable one year old daughter took a little bit to warm up to the camera but by the end she was playing in the leafs and all smiles.
