Downingtown Country Club Wedding | Philadelphia, PA Wedding Photographer | Chris & Lindsay

Chis and Lindsay’s big day was finally here in early May! We started off the day with Lindsay at her house in Linfield with all of the ladies getting ready. After that we met up with Chris and the guys at St. Basil the Great Church in Kimberton. This is where both Chris’ grandparents and parents were also married. Lindsay and Chris did not want to do a first look but they were interested in doing a first touch (Pinterest inspired) where there is a door between them so they aren’t yet seeing each other before the ceremony but touch and hold hands. It was super cute and Lindsay couldn’t hold back the tears! They had a beautiful ceremony that ended with a bubble exit out of the church. The cherry blossoms outside of the church were in full bloom and made for an awesome backdrop for some bridal party fun and close ups of Chris and Lindsay. We then headed over to the reception at the Downingtown Country Club. They had so much fun dancing and celebrating with their friends and family. Congratulations to Chris & Lindsay!
Ridley Creek State Park Media, PA Engagement Session | Sam & Nicole

Meet Nicole and Sam! They’ve been dating for the past four years and decided to tie the knot this summer! When discussing places for engagement sessions Nicole really loved all that was at the Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park. It also happens to be a favorite of ours so it worked out well! In a month filled with a lot of rainy days we lucked out with this beauty of a day! Sam is from New York and is a Mets fan (booo!) so we had some fun with the Phillies vs Mets rivalry. We are super excited for their upcoming June wedding that will be at The Brandywine River Museum!
Yes to the Dress! | Bryn’s Wedding Planning
May 6, 2013 | Posted in Weddings
This is all you’re getting for now! I have to keep it a secret, right? As non traditional as I am turning out to be in this wedding planning process, I do think that the wedding dress is one thing that needs to remain a surprise until that day. Clearly I love lace and have decided to incorporate it in my wedding in a pretty big way…even down to my bridesmaids. Sorry guys!
I was definitely one of those crazy teenage girls that had a wedding notebook with dresses clipped out of the bridal magazines I subscribed to. Yes, I did that too. I had literally everything planned. I knew where I wanted my wedding, what I wanted to look like, and what I wanted to wear. Let me just say, this dress is NOTHING like what I had planned for. I used to want the fairy tale wedding, you know…the kind with the cinderella dress and candles and flowers. So the dress I picked out during that time was entirely too puffy and bedazzled for what I currently love. It is pretty ironic now, as I look back on it, how completely different my wedding is turning out to be. We are having a Backyard BBQ Wedding and I am wearing a simple lace dress. Cray cray.
The choosing of “the dress” turned out to be very untraditional and fairly anticlimactic for me. I have heard it SO many times, “NEVER EVER EVER buy a dress online without trying it on first.” Well I broke that rule, and I am so happy I did! I found my dress as I was browsing one of my favorite designers online and I knew it was the dress I wanted without even trying it on. I didn’t have the experience of going into the bridal salon and parading around in dress after dress as your friends and family look at you and tell you how much they love or hate what you are wearing. I do kind of regret that part of my planning process however; it is kind of like the ultimate dress up party that you always would love to be the star of. However, being as indecisive and nit picky as I am, I am so proud of myself for finding one and sticking to it without even trying it on first!
I still have SO much to do, but things are definitely falling into place one at a time! Today my “The Knot Ultimate Wedding Planner” app is telling me that I have 134 days to go. As crazy and overwhelming as that sounds at the moment, knowing what I have left to do, I am more excited to be a bride and marry Mr. Walters =) #walterswedding

Philadelphia, PA Engagement Session | Old City | Lindsay & Chris
May 4, 2013 | Posted in Engagement, Weddings
Meet Chris and Lindsay! This lovely couple met while they were in college at Bloomsburg University. They are now engaged and ready for their big day! Lindsay is from central PA so she wanted more of a city feel for their engagement session. So we had some fun on Broad street, Franklin Square Park, Old City and ended at one of my favorite places, Franklin Fountain. They not only have the best homemade ice cream but it’s also a really cute old fashion ice cream parlor. Chris and Lindsay shared a Sunday and Lindsay had some fun getting Chris with the whipped cream. We are so excited for their wedding at the Downingtown Country Club today!
