I’ve been waiting to share this beautiful wedding for awhile now. Tim and Beth live in Utah so their Philadelphia wedding was somewhat of a destination wedding for them. Tim is from the area and they wanted a fun wedding venue- what better of a place than the Franklin Institute! They are both so down to earth and relaxed that their whole day went so smoothly and it was truly just a celebration of their love (personal vows that made a lot of tears happen) I’m not going to lie, this was one of the hardest ceremony’s that I’ve ever photographed since it was in the pitch black to get the full ambiance of the planetarium. It was however so beautiful and I think we captured it just right. Another fun perk of getting married there is the roof access with incredible views of the city. We were able to make it out there just as the sun was setting. Their reception was under the watch of Big Ben Franklin but that didn’t stop them from dancing all night long!

Happy New Year!!! I am so excited for 2018 and what this year has in store for us! I know it will be a year of big things happening here and another incredible year of documenting unforgettable moments for people. I am just so grateful for that opportunity! In 2017 so we photographed so many amazing weddings and portraits that I hardly had a chance to blog most of them. I am going to share some favorites within the next few weeks.
Here is Kate & Tim’s wedding. Their special day was in late June at the newly renovated venue Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square. Catered by the always wonderful Finely Catering (ie. The Ice Cream Sunday Bar). They are a pretty shy couple but totally naturals in front of the camera. I just love their portraits together. Kate is such a beauty and she was a dream to photograph in her gorgeous dress. Congrats again to these two and their new life together!

Brigantine, New Jersey Beach Wedding | Jacquie & Matt

I was so excited for this beautiful day! Jacquie is a dear friend of mine who I’ve known since high school so when she asked me to photograph her wedding to her long time boyfriend Matt I was so honored. They love the beach and wanted all their friends and family there to celebrate so they did a mini destination wedding to Brigantine, New Jersey. The weather was almost as gorgeous as Jacquie.
